Fidel Che Playing Card on Archival Paper

Inspired by Havana House. Karen was approached to create this special Che/Fidel Card which she immersed into her King Collection.

During her career, Karen Bystedt combined the objectivity of the photography with her endless creativity, giving birth to lots of artworks that matched the need of self-expression to the irreverent provocation. She often employed various media and techniques, including photography, silkscreens, neon art. She is gifted with a special gaze that is able to capture the inner nature of the subjects that posed in front of her camera (from actors to rock stars, to artists) and she constantly pursues innovation and experimentation. “collaboration” is a key word for her production, in fact she recently carried on various partnerships with other artists in order to increase the creative potential.

Bystedt's photographs are part of the Andy Warhol museum and the Astrup Fearnley permanent collection. Her collectors include Prince Albert of Monaco and the Hearst Foundation. Signed and Numbered.

Signed and Numbered. The artwork will be shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity from Havana House. (Please note, Open Editions are not numbered.)
